The goal of the Leadership Institute is to increase workforce diversity within public service organizations (including public media) We believe this can be best achieved through the recruitment and retention of a diverse pool of people--current and emerging leaders--with the requisite skills, experience and knowledge to thrive and innovate in today's competitive business environment.


Diversity Database

    We have developed a database of highly qualified and experienced men and women from diverse backgrounds who have a demonstrated interest in leadership positions in public media and other public service industries. We invite you to join others in this inclusive database so that we can match you with future positions in public media and keep you informed of our ongoing conversations about public service leadership.

Diversity Clearinghouse

The Leadership Institute is developing a Diversity Clearinghouse to assist public television stations in meeting new diversity eligibility requirements for the Community Service Grant..  We are working with a small group of local station executives to advise us on the services and content of the clearinghouse.  Please stay tuned for more information.
